Custom MX and A Records in Web Hosting
If you have a web hosting account with our company and you would like to move either your website or your e-mails to another service provider, it is going to take you literally simply two mouse clicks to do this. Our Hepsia CP offers an easy-to-use DNS Records tool, where all your domains and subdomains are going to be listed alphabetically and you are going to be able to see and modify the A and/or MX records for any of them. If you wish to use a different e-mail provider and they ask you to set up more MX records than the default 2, it won't take more than a couple of clicks either to add them. You can even set different latency for these records and the lower the latency, the higher the priority a certain MX record will have. The propagation of each record that you change or set up won't take more than several hours and if needed, you'll also be able to set the so-called Time-To-Live value, that shows how long a record will remain active after it is changed or deleted.
Custom MX and A Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
The Hepsia hosting Control Panel, included with our semi-dedicated servers, will allow you to view the A and MX records for every one of the domain names or subdomains in your account and if required, to edit any of them or create new ones. Controlling these records is very easy because all domains/subdomains are going to be listed alphabetically, so modifying a record is as easy as entering it in a box and saving the change. Creating a new one takes just a couple of more clicks and in case you experience any problems, you can check out our video tutorials on how to set up A and MX records. Our system is user-friendly enough to be used by individuals with no previous experience, yet sophisticated enough to give you full control of all records and to enable you to have different A records even for domain.com and www.domain.com. If you're switching your e-mails to a different provider and they ask you to create more than 2 different MX records, you can choose the priority of each one.
